We are looking for someone who wants to work as a summer substitute (care assistant/nursing assistant) at Humana Björnö elderly care home in Norrtälje during the period June 15 – August 16, 2025 (weeks 25–33).

Björnö is a modern elderly care home with 60 apartments, located in southern Norrtälje near both the sea and the forest. The residence has a fantastic garden with a greenhouse, cultivation plots, and walking paths. The staff is trained to meet the needs of people with dementia and cognitive impairment, and we work with a rehabilitative approach.

In the role of care assistant/nursing assistant, you will primarily work with:

• Personal care and support in daily life

• Creating a safe and meaningful existence for the residents

• Meal situations and social interaction

• Activities with the residents

• Documentation

You will be part of a dedicated team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and team leaders.

To thrive in this role, you are a warm, responsible person with a genuine interest in people. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and enjoy working in a team. As a person, you are secure, present, and have an easy time building good relationships.

For this position, it is required that you:

• Are at least 18 years old

• Master Swedish in speech and writing

• Are available to work the entire period

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience working in care and nursing

• Have nursing assistant training or ongoing healthcare education

• Have experience working with people with dementia
